bulletPrimary Clutch (Drive)
bulletRoller Diameter    14.5mm 8CA-91 w/ Duralon bushing (stock)
bulletWeight P/N            8CR-00 w/Duralon bushing (stock)
bulletRivet Inner            1 10.3 Steel (stock)
bulletRivet Outer           1 10.3 Al (modified - none stock)
bulletSpring                    Pink/Pink/Pink (stock, after update)

bulletSpring Shims         1 (none stock)
bulletEngagement          3700 rpm (3500 stock)
bulletNOTES: The sled came with no Rivet in the outer hole and no shim. RPMs are great at 8300, they were a little low (8000 to 8100) before I added pipes.

bulletSecondary Clutch (Driven)
bulletHelix                     43deg Yamaha
bulletSpring                   Green (stock)
bulletPre-Load                70deg
bulletShift Speed            8300rmp SOLID

bulletGearing
bulletDrive Axle             8 Tooth (stock 9 tooth)
bulletTop Gear               21 Tooth (stock 22 - See Note)
bulletBottom Gear         40 Tooth (stock)
bulletChain                    70 Link (stock 70L)
bulletNOTES: The sled came with 22/40 and 9 tooth drivers, but with Yamaha now recommends the same 20/40 with 9 Tooth (as we settled on last year). I'm running a 2" track, so had to replace the 9 tooth drivers with 8 tooth. 22/40 with 8 tooth is the same ratio as 20/40 with 9 tooth. Last years belt had problems and this eliminated them. This year's belt is great! I

bulletJetting
bulletCyl #1 (PTO)       131.3 (chart recommended at 20F and 8K to 10K feet, but a little fat w/o pipes)
bulletCyl #2 (Center)    130.0 (chart recommended)
bulletCyl #3 (Mag)       130.0 (chart recommended)
bulletPilot Jets (all)      62.5 (stock 8K to 10K feet and 20/40F)
bulletNeedle Clip (all)   2nd position
bulletNOTES: I originally set my Brothers piped MM700 up with the Needles in the 3rd clip position, this was too rich! The 2nd clip position is also great w/o pipes. Nice burn rings on each plug (1/2 way down the electrode) at WOT. My center is the leanest of the 3, but again, they are all real close. My piston wash looks great (4 small corners are clean) at Wide Open and mid range; a racer would want to be a bit leaner on both, but I like a little margin of safety. I HAVE GYT YAMAHA PIPES -- See my MM700 Mods Page.
